For the past 5 years we’ve not only been taking people out on trail rides, we’ve also been sponsoring Healing Horses retreats. Although, horses have a long history of being used in therapeutic settings, we are doing something a bit differently.

The ranch has been the setting of the energy modality called Crystalline Consciousness Technique™ and I decided to try it out on the horses. Admittedly when they first received it (it involved sacred geometry shapes) they were a bit curious but not they all come up running to get a treatment. Once or twice a summer, as we hold Healing Horses retreats (or as they prefer to have them called: Spa Days for Us), we give them lots of tender loving care via energy sessions…and this year…painting!

And they loved it. Abby, the horse in this photo, loved preening and looking great. She did not want to get out of her new outfit. Horses have been painted by indigenous tribes in preparation for battle, and many of the participants felt they were connecting into warrior energy with their horses. Horses liked the feeling of the brushes and even the paint. Many of them clearly communicated where they wanted paint including shoulders and knees. As an energy reader I could discern the horses that received paint versus the ones that didn’t. They clearly had a different look to them.
